On September 20, 2023, Lion Corporation (President: Masayuki Takemori) will release new FERZEA PREMIUM HP Boost Foam, a dense foam therapeutic treatment for dry skin that works from the skin’s foundations to repair dryness on the face or elsewhere that is formulated particularly for users who are approaching a skin care turning point*3 with persistent dry skin despite the incorporation of moisturizing as part of their regular skin care.

FERZEA was created in 1988 as a brand of therapeutic treatments for dry skin. The FERZEA PREMIUM series, containing heparinoid, a medicated ingredient long used as a therapeutic agent to treat dry skin, was launched in September 2021 and has been well received by consumers concerned about dryness.
In a recent consumer survey about skin care, around 90% of women around the age of 40 who had begun to experience dryness and other age-related skin problems said that their skin felt dry despite performing regular skin care.*4
Dry skin that persists despite moisturizing is thought to be due to disorder that extends below the skin’s surface, originating rather in the skin’s foundations.*5 As such, treating dryness from the foundations of the skin is essential.
To meet these needs, Lion will launch a new product in the FERZEA PREMIUM series, FERZEA PREMIUM HP Boost Foam, a dense foam therapeutic treatment for dry skin that targets the skin’s foundations to repair dryness on the face or elsewhere, particularly for users who are approaching a skin care turning point due to persistent dry skin despite the incorporation of moisturizing as part of their regular skin care. The foam’s three active ingredients penetrate deep to repair dryness from the skin’s foundations, helping users regain naturally moist, healthy skin.
Going forward, the FERZEA PREMIUM series will continue to offer support for the formation of better skin-related habits among those who want to feel at home in their skin as they age by reexamining issues from a medical skin care perspective that considers skin from the fundamentals.

(1) Three Active Ingredients to Treat Dry Skin
In addition to heparinoid, which restores the skin’s natural moisturizing capacity, the product features a dual vitamin combination to activate skills cells consisting of panthenol (provitamin B5) and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) (Figure 1).

Once to several times a day, spray a small amount onto the affected area, or spread on gauze, etc., and affix to the affected area.
